Every day practice has taught us, that a lot of traditional financers consider the financing of the seed phase, from idea to concept, too much of a risk. Grants may form a welcome basis, but do not offer complete financing. This can slow down the process towards (market) introduction.

Since 2006 Dynova selects projects, in which they participate during this risky stage. By using an intensive innovation management tool they keep the time to market as short as possible. For this purpose a separate "Participation" company, called Dyfundo, has been founded.

In 2006 two projects were brought under the flag of Dyfundo, namely the development of a new technique in order to prevent digging damage to pipes and wires, and the project Smart Clipper. Smart Clipper is a co-operation between two commercial gardeners and a technical developer. Together they are developing a hand machine in which an electronic cut- and weight device is integrated.
